In many cases the policymakers of the sham and flimsy so-called superpower India miscalculate and misinterpret its friendly countries, as its satellites and expect that they will rotate on Indian orbit. They perhaps suffer from a psychotic or hegemonic problem as they erroneously took it guaranteed that the countries that maintain close relation with India for mutual commercial, diplomatic or geo-strategic interest will blindly follow and support India whatever they (Indian policymakers) internally and externally do. Indians, like lords, desire to see that Indian trading or diplomatic friends follow their footprints and will not speak against India’s brutish and brutal misdeeds.
An Indian Bengali daily ‘Anandabazar Patrika’ unequivocally exposed such an attitude of the Indian policymakers. The daily tells that Indian policymakers were stunned when two Muslim countries — Iran and Indonesia were strongly critical of the recent Muslim massacre in New Delhi, India’s capital.
The daily on March 9, 2020 said, one of India’s poles in the Islamic group Iran, the lone base for trading with ‘the West Asian countries’ avoiding Pakistan, was very close to India even a few days back. But India was shocked when Iran intensely criticized the anti-Muslim riot in Delhi.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted on March 3, 2020 said, “Iran condemns the wave of organized violence against Indian Muslims.”
“For centuries, Iran has been a friend of India. We urge Indian authorities to ensure the wellbeing of ALL Indians & not let senseless thuggery prevail. The path forward lies in peaceful dialogue and the rule of law,” the Iranian Foreign Minister’s tweet said.
Reacting the comments of Zarif, Indian foreign office on Mach 4 summoned Iranian Ambassador to Delhi lodged strong protest against the comments of Zarif.
According to ‘The Times of India’, officials told the Iranian Ambassador Ali Chegeni, “Zarif commented on a matter (anti-Muslim Delhi roit) which is purely internal to India.” Indians informed they are “exploring why Iran suddenly became so aggressive in some unexpected way.”
Countering Indian step of summoning Iranian Ambassador and rejecting Zarif’s tweet, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Thursday, March 5 blamed the Indian government for the anti-Muslim riots in New Delhi.
Joining voices with the Iranian Foreign Minister, the spiritual leader Khamenei tweeted in Arabic, English, Persian, and Urdu attaching a photograph of a child grieving over the body of a man killed in the violence. He urged India to stop Hindu-Muslim violence in New Delhi he tweeted, “The hearts of Muslims all over the world are grieving over the massacre of Muslims in India.”
Khamenei warned: “The hearts of Muslims all over the world are grieving over the massacre of Muslims in India. The govt. of India should confront extremist Hindus & their parties & stop the massacre of Muslims in order to prevent India’s isolation from the world of Islam.”
India’s reaction over Iranian condemnation on the recent anti-Muslim riot (that massacred 53 ill-fated unfortunate Indians 99% of those were Muslims) shows Indians desire that they deserve the unconditional loyalty of its friendly countries if they (Indians) even commit inhuman crimes.
Iran was a
Indonesia has condemned attacks against Muslims in India, calling them “inhuman” and “contrary to religious values”.
Indonesian Minister of Religion Affairs Fachrul Razi urged India to protect its minority population and not harm humanitarian values over differences in faith.
“The riots were inhuman and contrary to religious values,” said Razi in a press statement issued on Friday.
He also asked religious leaders both in India and Indonesia to exercise restraint and avoid provocation over this issue.
Meanwhile, ‘Anandabazar Patrika on March 3 captioned a report on the anti-India demonstration in Jakarta, saying ‘IS flag in Jakarta, Worried Delhi’.
This Indian Bengali daily said, the criticism from the Iranian government level has been digested a few days ago. This time Indonesia is worried about Delhi-violence against New Delhi.
The daily said, leaders of different Muslim organizations and people of different levels have protested against the recent violence in Delhi in front of the Indian Embassy in Jakarta and the Indian Consulate in Medan. Thousands of people have also been accused of burning the Indian national flag in the protest.
The protesters demanded that Indian Ambassador to Delhi Pradeep Kumar Rawat is held accountable and answerable for the Delhi killing.
The daily informed Indian foreign ministry is engaged in exploring whether Pakistan had a role in the whole incident. So-called South Block was embarrassed at such an incident at that time, Anandabazar added.
This report reveals at least three characteristics of Indian policymakers: 1. India’s policymakers seem to treat their friends as their tenants. Hence there mustn’t be any resentment in those countries against India’s cruel atrocities; 2. Indian policymakers aren’t ready to tolerate any condemnation of their heinous crimes. Such a report proves whatever crimes are committed against the religious minorities, without protest or condemnation. 3. They are desperate to explore the involvement of rival Pakistan behind all those incidents that uncover India’s atrocities or its hegemonic designs.
Conversely, the comment of Indian Ambassador Rawat was itself a crime. He branded the anti-India demonstration as an act of a ‘some fundamentalists are spreading the terror’. While Indian Muslims are victims of Hindu terrorists, how Rawat could brand those who protested against the killers.
Rawat even surprisingly explored that Pakistan might have had a role behind the anti-India demonstration. However, Indians were generous enough as they refrained from saying, all the Muslim countries should remain mum on the face of murdering the Muslims inside in India, as it is India’s internal matter. How audacious Indians are! ISS or BJP and all other communalists and killers are not terrorists, as Hindus cannot be terrorists.
Indian policymakers are intolerant to the critics of India’s misdeed. When Mahathir Mohammad the former Prime Minister of Malaysia or Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned Indian atrocities in India-occupied Kashmir, Indians cried against their condemnation.
Indians never ask their conscience their atrocities, or illegal occupation, deprivation of human rights or religious rights invite or irk condemnation and whether their critics are justified or not.
Since 1947 Indian Muslims, are the victims of riots. None can say how many hundreds of thousands of anti-Muslim riots occurred in India and how many Muslims were killed in those riots. Over two thousand Muslims were killed in Gujrat in 2002 under the leadership of Modi, who is globally infamous for his butchery.
One Indian journalist, Ashis Kumar Nandi, in 2002 justly opined on the “Illustrated Weekly of India,’ the more India gets modernized the more India gets communalized. This the gist of his comment on Indian riots against the Muslims. I cannot recollect, at the moment, the entire para of his comment though I repeatedly reproduced the same on my books and articles.
Indians never tried to rectify or repair their society and social system or mindset of shunned hegemonic dreams. India’s entire system is controlled by those who are ultra-communal, and aggressive whether they are judges of the Supreme Court, presidents, prime ministers, army generals, bureaucrats, clergies. They are by nature fanatic and cruel as they inherit such cruelty and ruthlessness. Hindus burnt alive their mothers, wives, young sisters and daughters along with their dead husbands, which was banned in 1829 by Lord William Bentick. They sacrificed their children at the feet of their gods and goddesses. They threw their young daughters into the river to please gods. Killing a human being, particularly the non-Hindu, perhaps, is not a crime to them.
So the communal mindset of the Indians will not be cured since they claim that killing people in Kashmir or elsewhere in India is their internal matter. In lieu of getting ashamed for their inhuman crimes, Indians condemn those who rightly condemn their (Indians) brutality in India.
Under this situation, Indians need to be bridled and checked. Whenever communal riots broke out in India international community, even UN, at best, issue a statement, what is, in the truest sense is a cruel fun. India gives no value to such a statement. This face-saving act of the world leaders indulge and embolden India to be defiant and violent, as all of its crimes, including murders, aggressions, forcible occupations, etc., remained unpunished. Time has come for the international community to revise, reverse and repair their policy and role to halt and punish and communal and aggressive Indians.*
